no rear brake lights???

Third brake light works but cant get the tail brake lights to work. Any ideas???? 1994 ranger

There is a connector at the center of the rear of the bed.
Test for 12v on the LG wire with the brake pedal pushed. If 12v is present, reconnect it and test again at the lamp sockets (LG).

It can't be a bad ground unless your rear parking lights, rear turn signals and backup lights don't work. They all share ground 103.

probably the brake light switch on the brake pedal under the dash, its about a 12 dollar part.
