Ok guys, here's the deal...so, I accidently stalled out my truck on Friday and my truck wouldn't start back up. When I checked the connections to the battery, the ground was disconnected. After I hooked it back up I went to start it and the damn thing lost all power. My dome lights and door dinger came on intitially until I put the clutch in and turned the key to start it up, then everything shut off. It made no sounds and didn't turn over just killed all the power. I turned the key back and tried again and it was completly dead. I waited about 5-10 mins. and turned the key to accessory the dome light and dinger started again. I had the battery tested, it's good, the alternator is good and I had a bad starter, it was locked up, so I replaced that.....It still won't start....anyone have any ideas?? I've checked all connections I can think of. Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

Thanks.

When you say tested the battery. Was it tested for voltage or was it load tested?

If it was only tested for voltage the battery could still be bad.

If it was load tested and the truck is still not turning over but sucking away all the battery power.. my next suspect would be wiring and grounds You can have good connections and bad wire. It Can look good on the outside but have corrosion on the inside or have even melted. I would replace the ground wire and run a fresh wire from the battery to the starter and see if the truck turns over with the existing battery and the new wire. If the truck doesn't turn over still, its not the wire but most likely the starter or the battery.
