no power to lights at all

i have no power to any of the lights in my truck at all the only way to get power to them is to straight wire them in to somethin with power any ideas would help thanks

well my 96 head light switch inside truck went out and none of the lights would come on, replaced switch and was fine. try replacing you switch inside truck.... do u still have brake lights and reverse lights? if not u could have a bigger mess on ur hands.
