Have you checked the wear on your timing belt? If the the engine lacks power under various conditions it could be that the belt has jumped a tooth. I have seen it happen a couple times. The vehicle would run just fine, but it had no power. One time, a customer had put a timing belt in and the timing marks were out by 1 tooth. I lined up the marks and it ran like a top. Just check it if you can. A tune up with new plugs wires and fuel and air filters is a good idea anyway. Just check a few things out before you go throwing parts at it. It's your money; you earned it; only spend on what is necessary to keep your truck running properly.
