Nikon Price Increase

Has anybody noticed the price increases lately on Nikon photography gear?

I paid $1614.95 for the 70 200mm f/2.8 VR lens in July '07, now check
out the price:

Damn, thats alot of money. At least you saved 200.00. LOL

I did, Canon did it a few months ago. Prices jumped for canon about 5% on primes and 6% on zooms. Bodies have gone down, same as flashes and other things.
