I picked up a bumper off Amazon which really kicked off my whole overlander project a while back. As I've delved more into the ranger world again I've found that it's either affordable offroad's bumper or maybe a clone. It's a screaming deal though and I thought I would share, I am impressed with the quality of mine honestly. It came powder coated.

I'm not affiliated in any way whatsoever and paid full price on a whim for mine. I just thought I'd share, apologies if that's not ok.

Definitely an AOR clone. They're even using pictures right off of AOR's website.

What's the old saying... Imitation is the best form of flattery? Something like that.

I've bought both the front and rear bumpers... and the front skid plate from AOR. I still don't feel cheated paying their price... IMHO they build really nice stuff.

I read the reviews and it seems several folks had fit problems and the power coat was damaged during shipping. How did your arrive and fit?

My truck had some front end damage and required "persuading" with a sledge. Fitting a heavy bumper always sucks, I used a shop crane 4 jack stands and a bunch of C clamps. I didn't have to cut anything but it was tight, which I took as a feature.

As long as it's a decently built bumper, it doesn't matter but the way to tell if it's a real Affordable Off Road bumper is by the "A" and the bottle opener cut out in the front of the bumper.

That one has their old logo...

So, mine doesn't have to cutout but advertised the damned bottle opener. I thought I was just a moron and couldn't find it. How damned funny! It feels well built enough I'm going to put a winch on it, but will probably weld it to the fee when I do. The carrier is one large heavy built section.

FYI if you buy this your UPS guy will give you really dirty looks.

Imagine the look had you refused it due to the lack of a bottle opener...

They wouldn't deliver mine without me being home... I'm pretty sure it was because of the weight. I couldn't be home when they could deliver and threatened to send it back undeliverable. So I had to go pick it up at the FedX terminal. I was wondering how close I could park to the front door because I didn't really want to carry the damn thing to far. It was all packed in a single box... Luckily they wheeled it right to the tailgate of my truck.

I came home to my sliders just laying in the yard lol. They did get them up by the house though.

I'm sure the delivery person was saying.... they don't pay me enough for this shit!

The UPS guy missed a package and actually reversed back to drop it off. I thanked him for coming back.
