That's pretty cool, nice restore. How's the accuracy? I would think there would be a lot of lost motion with a lathe that old.

the chuck is off about .004" and with the 4 jaw chuck I can true up the work to perfect, im actually very impressed with how well it works and how consistant it is.

Maybe a heavy duty switch that has an emergency stop on it?
I thought about that but I'd like to get an original switch, there on ebay for cheap.
