New Year’s Resolutions

^Hell yeah. I actually just played that mission on stream the other day.
Looks like there is still a video of it up. So you can tell me how bad I am at it.

Edit: I just realized that my stream captured my aunt's side of the call I was in at the time.

I'm pretty much perfect so there isn't much to improve on.
My one resolution is to watch my diet better since I'm diabetic. I've been a naughty boy since Thanksgiving and eating too much of things I shouldn't and my blood sugar has been higher than I like.

Aside from whatever it is called when you just fight waves and waves of covenant with my son on the 360 I haven't played Halo in ages.

In Halo Reach, possibly one of the best games of all time you get that message, fight a good fight and then no matter how you do you end with this cutscene:

Clean up the Mark V and piss away 1,000,000 gallons of gas for a while and then sell it

Clean up the 87 Towncar and sell either the 87 or 88.

Clean up and sell folding trailer (anyone want?)

Clean out the shed of miracles and throw away all of the projects that will never happen materials and get three vehicles inside.

Sell or give anway all the toolboxes and materials for projects that will never happen and clean up the yard.

Clean and paint the trim on the house and clean up the landscaping

Drive and show the trucks and cars as often as I can, including TRS events within striking distance

Thank the Man upstairs every day for all His blessings, my recovering health, my family and good friends, and the cute little brunette.

Two down!

87 reverse lights & spare tire hanger. I’ll be crossing them off.

(1) Get the concrete approaches poured in front of the 2 additional stalls I added on.
(2) Slow down some from going to get cars for the dealership
(3) Take a trip to Michigan and go through the FORD plant where our 2 King Ranch trucks were built
(4) Get my detail shop up and going

Yesterday was a family day for a late Christmas get together in Ohio. It was a good time but it was also a crash course refresher on how taxing younger children can be.

Today is a recovery day. I will venture out to get a tube of synthetic wheel bearing grease, a box of shop towels, and maybe a few other small things but that will be it.

Tomorrow, I'll be pulling the trailer hubs and cleaning the spindles so I can mark the spindle location on the frame for the new suspension. Me leaving the support brackets for the fenders in place will help with that since I will be using a plum bob. They arch over the wheels to hold the fender in place. So make a great place to hang the plum bob over the spindle.

I also need to put the new bearing races in the freezer so they are still cold for installation and because the humidity had been so high for about a week or so before the current cold snap, dress up the interior surfaces of the new hubs a little. Some suface rust developed but nothing that is a show stopper.

Because I use kerosene and electric heaters to heat the garage, it's too expensive to have them running all then time. Insulating the garage would help as would installing natural gas heat, but that is easier said than done and requires money that other projects demand. The garage was not built with either of those things in mind.

success!! three and a half days without ice cream or fudge brownies :icon_thumby:
That’s good enough. Back to “business as usual” and celebrate your victory

For lining up the axles, I have used a small framing square in the past. You put one leg flush against the bottom of the frame, and then slide it over to where it touches the axle, and then mark it there.

Just a thought

it is noteworthy, that is neither ice cream nor a brownie. :icon_thumby:

I think you may be forgetting the style of axle system I'm installing. It is not the standard cross beam axle setup but two independent trailing arms that can use a square tube for lateral support. Each arm must be located using the spindle it comes with and must use the factory spindle location in order to properly locate the new ones.

Once the arms are located using the spindles as a reference point, the mounting flanges can be clamped to the frame for drilling. Then, because of the style of frame the trailer has, the 2" X 2" X 1/4" square tube can be slid in and drilled for bolts to lock the arms and tube in place. From there, the instructions tell you how to set the suspension alignment for toe and camber, using the coupler as a reference point.
