New tools you've bought recently?

I have one of these on the way so I can get the clutch fan and water pump pulley off. I need that pulley off to replace an idler pulley and repair an oil leak that developed on the 2019. Apparently, there is a particular bolt on the 2.3 Ecoboost timing chain cover that is known to develop a leak. That appears to be where mine is coming from.

Is that a different size then what's used on the older Rangers? I want to say mine has a couple different patterns on it.

Worth the price of admission. I've always had used spade bits to drill through wood. this almost feeds itself. And, unlike a spade bit, you can drill out a smaller hole.

I know somebody that needs this.

I saw that style but had my doubts on how well it would work. Being that the other one is apparently on a slow boat from China, I may have to order one of those, just because.

I spent money than I should have at Harbor Freight but the main items were on a Labor Day Sale or I had a coupon. So, that makes it a little better than it could have been.

I got this because I got tired of running my tire inflater way more than it should be run continuously. It's been a good inflater but it was never meant to be inflating truck tires. Plus, I can run some air tools, on a very limited basis, but I CAN run them. $50. I really don't have the room for a bigger compressor. This one will fit in the spot the inflater sat. It will be nice to be able to use an air nozzle to blow dirt and dust off things and I will be able to get a short burst of ugah dugahs out of a 1/2" impact gun. Worse comes to worse, I still have the electric impact gun to use and abuse.

One of these to make the girlfriend happy. It was $25 with the sale and I already have the batteries for my chain saw.

One of these for when on the trail. $50 and again, I already have the batteries.

And being that I had limited stock in impact sockets, 1/2" or otherwise, that is where I dumped a lot of the other money I spent.

To save a little floor space in the shed of miracles, my welder and a couple of other items are on shelves up in the air. I have a stick welder, that’s probably 14 x 14 on the bottom, and I built a 15 or 16 in.² shelf for it. It has a lip all around so it would be pretty hard for the thing to slip off. I also have a little half-assed rope strap attached to the top, so if I tug on the leads hard enough, they unplug before the thing comes flying down. The bottom is probably 6 feet in the air. It’s a stick welder, and I don’t move the controls very much, but I can step on a stool or a short ladder for the few times I do that. And I made a stick with a loop on one end to flip the on off switch

If you do that with a few items, you gain that much more space.

I don't think I'll be able to free up enough space for a bigger compressor, even with that and still be able to pull one of the trucks in and still be able to close the garage door.

Got one of these off Amazon for 2 bucks. got a Sunex 27mm combination wrench for the fan clutch nut. 18 bucks for the wrench. surprisingly decent quality, and certainly better than the worn out fan clutch tool kit that I rented from Autozone which was complete junk and led me to look into this solution...

I have a Ford wrench and a big adjustable jaw wrench (Crecent) that fit the clutch fan nut. The issue is that the belt doesn't grab the pulley enough to break the nut loose.

The garage is on a slab, or what is left of one. The back of the garage is already populated with things. The one side is the neighbor's yard.

The one corner in the front is a possibility. The side that is in my yard has a sidewalk. Room for stuff is very limited.
