New tools you've bought recently?

Just ordered a Actron CP9190 Scanner set. $172. Pretty big gamble for if my truck even supports live data. At least it does work on OBD2 and GM OBD1 too. I hope this works out. Ebay seller has good reviews but says no returns...

Spring loaded, very thin/fine needle nose pliers

Harbor freight on sale. I had to squeeze them back-and-forth about 30 times with some 3-in-1 oil before they started to spring back consistently, but I’m loving them, I’ve already used them a lot.

I think Actron is no longer in business, so no parts or help...

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate all these different visuals…

Oof, 25% off whole trip coupons for HFT can get ya... I somewhat controlled myself, only spent like $225... and saved $75...

McGraw needle scaler, clearance for $18, works fine

couple auto center punches
couple red handled side cutters
Bauer flashlight, I see '85 using his and it would be nice so couldn't not...
Bauer cordless shop vac, should be super handy
disposable paint cup kit
disposable paint cup refill
spray gun brush kit
paint strainers
spray gun stand
winch mount plate
magnet cup holder (they're dumb handy, needed a "free range" one)
spare loppers
doming block/punch set, don't know why but I've been drawn to it...

I've bought dumber things...

Used the cordless shopvac in the shop already, walked around the shop sucking up spiders and even found an ant nest...

I bought 2 sets of the 3 pack step drill bits, $6ea. They come in so handy. I've actually used them to enlarge the holes in the spring pack in my race truck. At the time I didn't know that spring steel is very hard to drill. Iirc I used 3 bits in total for that. More magnetic plates, $2.88 each. And found a box of aluminum rivets I bought at a scratch and dent sale. So that's 1,200 rivets total for $5. And... Some welding blankets for $12 ea.

On the fifth kill, you become an Ace.

They're also great for drilling Plexiglas, without cracking it like a regular fluted bit is so prone to do.
