NEW TO the Ranger Station

If you did coil spacers you can do a body lift. Loosen cab bolts, take out one side jack up cab, put spacers in, and install new bolts. Repeat on opposite side. The biggest challenge you will encounter would probably just be rusty bolts. If i had to rate from 1-10 I would say 2 or 3.

The only other issue I can think of is the filler tube for the fuel tank. Atleast on first gens they usually crumble apart.

I plan on doing a 3in body lift, and suspension level as well... now I'm all confused on what size tire to run, I was orginally thinking 8x33 now I'm thinking 10x33's, do you know how much backspacing you have??

Not sure who that was directed to? But, I have 33x12.5 mounted on 15x10 steelies with a 4" backspace. With just a 3" BL and small torsion crank I have no issues with rubbing.

Edit: Check this it may clear up any questions you might have.

I have The 2 inch coil spring spacer in the front .. nothing in the rear... I run 33x12.5 with 15x10 rims with 4 back spacing no rubbing at all...

if you say you arent rubbing now i would recommend against body lifts. Save up and do it the right way with a suspension lift.

hey and welcome.

are you from the VA beach area? you truck looks familiar

i think you truck looks good as it is, i wouldnt see any reason to do a body lift if you aren't having any issues with rubbing.
