Hello all,

got my self a Bii for in town trips when I don't have the rugrats with me , it did come with both a chiltons and a haynes manual.

When I bought it I was told it had electrical problems but I picked it up anyway and figured i'd tackle the job. So far I put a new battery in it, changed out the battery cables, pulled the ground wires, cleaned them up and tightened them up. I changed out the three relays that I found along the airbox, i found one broken fusable link by the battery that I switched out, but the lil beast is not starting up. Oh I also put a new starter solenoid on it.

Looks like the PO put on a new alternater, cap and rotor, and I finished off that job with plug wires and a coil.

looking at the wiring diagram there are two more fusable links that I could check but can't seem to find them, any help with where to find them, or any another options to check would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using the search function, but not finding the info I need.

Thanks in advance for any and all help

I had the same problem it was the plug on the ground wire. I have to jump mine off the solinoid for now because I'm still tryin figure out why the key won't start it?

Is the starter engaging?? if not, neutral safety or clutch switch.

wont start?

are you saying it wont turn over or wont fire up.the starter is a pretty simple circuit just run power from the battery to where red small wire on top the cylinoid is and it should turn over if not you probably have a bad connection at the starter or bad starter.if it does turn over check for spark and fuel pressure
that the basics.
good luck
