hello, i currently am looking at an 89 bronco 2 eddie bauer.
i was wondering if anyone can give suggestions or things to look for like common flaws.
any advice is appreciated.

The BII wil have the 2.9, which has a tendency to crack heads, it was supposedly fixed by '89 but you never know. Check for coolant in the oil, a sort of milkshake under the oil cap. Check the input shaft bearing, if the tranny is making noise running in netutral with the clutch out... Also, rear quarters rust easily and electronix transfer case motor likes to sometimes not work right. Look for a dana 35 fron axle, you may be lucky and get one.

thanks alot man, thats alot of help.

ok, new question.
i found another one, 16X,XXX miles 1990

guy said it has a cracked exhaust manifold. i checked lmc truck and theyre not too expensive.
diffucilty from 1-10 10 being highest, how hard is that to fix?

something else was wrong but i cant remember what right now.
the body is in pretty good shape for bein 18 years old, with the mileage and all. theres a dent near the rear fender that rusting but no big deal. im trying to get pics up from my cellphone now but its bein weird.

says $700 obo

make sure theres no white milky stuff under the oil fill cap after you test drive it.where you are and how rusty the manifold bolts are will determine the difficulty.i'de start spraying it with a penetrant like pb blaster a few days prior to removing the manifold.you can get to the back side of the manifold bolt threads top and bottom by bending the little red straw.its not too fun and i like to have wratchet wrenches for it

thanks for that info man
