New Thermos :D

This OP is so dumb...really a new thread for this.

I'm not a noob, just new here. And do you guys really enjoy a pointless waste of bandwidth like this??

From your attitude, signing up for a membership to a page without even using it for self help or to help others is a waste of bandwidth to you. Had you thought of that, eh?

who are you to decide what is worth while and what isn't? like i said before, there is no place on TRS for this kind of crap. knock it off. this is your warning.

Get 'im!

Yes. Have you seen any of the threads here with 10 or more posts?

TEN OR MORE POSTS!?!?!! He's already wasting his bandwidth with a thread of less than six. (At the time of his first post, that is.)

Welcome to the TRS NOOB SMACKDOWN event of the year.

Part of TRS that is so enjoyable is that we are like a family at the dinner table... You never really know what will come up in conversation. So no it isn't a waste of bandwidth... Now shut up and eat your spinach.

SMACKDOWN! Btw, yes! I love the family aspect of it. Which family member would I be, I wonder...

I admit, its not the smartest nor helpful thread, but panamas right, you never know what comes up, my thread on buying an off road vehicle turned into a jeep soulution thread.

Just like the rest of us in the family, we're going to give you a TON OF SHIT about Jeeps, but then you'll realize that we're all behind your back on whatever you decide. Family can be a bitch like that, especially on TRS!

Speaking of thermoses and hot liquid holders, I have a new tumbler from Starbucks that I absolutely love!

It isn't flashy, it isn't huge, but it's absolutely spill proof. I have accidentally dropped it down some stairs, and it was like "nope, you're going to have to try harder to get me to spill this wonderfully hot and delicious coffee that you brewed three hours ago".

Anyway, onto a pic of what it looks like.

I've been using the same "thermos" for so many years i don't remember when I got it. I've lost the 'cup'. I've dropped it numerable times, breaking the part above the handle and the top of the lid. As you may be able to see in the pic, there is what seems to be a growth trying to get out of the lid....it's not a growth but some expanding foam I used to replace the styrofoam insulator that was lost when the top broke. I used a plastic bag tie-wired to the lid to contain the expanding foam and that worked beautiful, leaving a nice shiny exterior that has unfortunately deteriorated over the years. The lunch box that is holding up the thermos was found in a dumpster. It was brand new and has served me countless lunches over the years. It had a re-usable ice pack that screws into the lid, that has also went missing, maybe eloping with the thermos lid?

Mine stopped keeping things hot or cold, would only do it for an hour.

Well, years ago whenever I went to the Drive In picture shows I alway had one of my babes put my coffee cup between her legs to keep my cup warm. Darn these smart ass inventors who made a device that keeps things hot or cold for a long time. Darn them to hell!!!!! AHHHHHHH....lol

:icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

Shouldn't someone invent something that keeps women hot for decades and decades?...
