The fill plug for 7.5s and 8.8s is on the front of the third member. It's not the greatest location since it can be a little tricky to fill but, nonetheless, they all have one from the factory. There's no need to fill up a plastic bag in order to put lube in the diff, although this would probably be much faster than using the fill port.
 
well i called 4wheelparts and it was a mistake on their website so ima return it and order me a ruffstuff cover looks like a better cover to
 
Why do you need a second fill plug? Sure, you have to use a pump to get it in the fill hole that's existing - but how often do you really need to worry about that?
 
I like the ruffstuff cover better to. After looking at my axle I'd rather have one on my diff cover than on my axle itself. It's easier to get to. And usually a cleaner surface. Doesn't hold all that dirt n junk that could fall down into the gear oil
