New site coming 01/01/10 - - - >

cool idea!

my family has 3 full-sizes ('94, '06, and '08), but they are all stock. If you are looking for "stock" photos of original equipment stuff, I can take some the first weekend in october.

otherwise, the '08 will be mine then, and I'll be looking forward to reading tech stuff, and eventually submitting my own.

I'm still looking for articles to add to give the site some content before 01/01/10.

Well... since I've started going fullsize... I guess I'm in too... Been working on maintaining my dad's F-350s for the past several years, now it's looking like I'm gonna be taking one before much longer (haven't decided which yet, like to keep both but not in the budget). '89 F-350 dually dump and a '94 F-350 dually dump.

Plus the '79 F-150 in the garage needs a few things to get it back on the road (it was in long-term storage, needs new belts, hoses, rad, etc). Hoping to have that done in the next year.

And add to that, back in the spring after nearly totalling my Ranger (yea, yea, STFU to those who know me, lol), I finally bought a 95 F-150 (I've needed one for the past couple years). Turns out my new truck is a bit of a problem child, so I've been patching it back up as time an money permits. I'm sure I can write up a number of articles for fixing stuff (since I didn't have a designated picture taker, and since I wasn't about to put my greasy mits on one of my cameras, I don't have much in the way of pics).

I've also been sorta looking for a fullsize Bronco to build up too (make a bigger version of my choptop).

And I may end up with a plow truck (fullsize ford, what else?)...

Want a writeup with pictures of doing wheel bearings, brakes, and u-joints on a 95 F150? I'm doing my passenger side tomorrow, did the drivers side last Saturday.

How would you like the write-ups submitted? I'll work on getting a few together soon as I can.

I have a number of mods in the works for my F-150 including upgrading the rear springs and installing a locker. I'll try to get some pics of any future projects on the truck.

It was raining like a mother today, got my axle out and in the basement but didn't want to fork up my camera (you know it's a lot harder to remember to get pictures when you're the one doing the work). I will try to get some tomorrow when I put it back together.

When are stickers going to be available? I need some RTI help :D

Just an update Jim, I started putting the RCD write up together about 2 weeks ago it's about half done. It just seems to be one of those things I'm always forgetting to do. I wanna get more details and a few more photo's before I submit it.

Hey guys,

I'm still in need of articles for the new fullsize Ford site.

I have 3 1972 ford trucks. I have a 72 F100 2wd that is my wife's truck that is almost done. I can take some pictures of the engine swap I did (installing a 300 six with offy intake and header with AOD Automatic out of later model using Ididit.com's conversion so I can use the stock shifter column). Also, i have a 72 F250 4x4 with 390 engine and divorced 205 that is undergoing 3 link front 4 link rear suspension with full cage, racing seats, ect, ect......basically a full out rock crawler. And last but not least a 72 F350 2wd that's been in my family since it was new. Definately a fan of the old full size rigs here, and so is my wife. When we finish up her 72 we got our sites set on an older 50's Ford truck to restore.

I am a member of a F150 specific site-HOWEVER I Love the TRS layout a lot better and there is not a much general B.S about politics etc. This site focuses on the trucks which is the main reason that I joined!!I wish that there was-or is there is a f-150 site comming soon just like this one!! When there is I'll sign up!!:icon_bounceblue:

01/01/10 - Watch for it.

I've got a buddy at work whose got a full size Bronco frame that we've talked about building into a dedicated offroader with a truck cab...obviously won't be ready for 1/1/10 but I'll do what I can to document the process of what we do with the suspension, etc. It's looking like it will get an SAS because it's currently missing the front axle anyway, was cannibalized for converting a 2WD to 4x4 a couple years ago.
