Hello all from the Great Pacific Northwet. I have been driving a Lincoln MKX that is a really nice car. . . for someone, but it just doesn't have a soul. The vehicle before it was a 2015 Ford F250 4x4 Crew Cab, great truck. . . If you could find a place to park it. It did pretty good offroad, as long as I was over in Eastern Washington or Death Valley. But for most places around here she was just too big. Then the other day I was flipping through the Facebook marketplace and found a pretty nice looking 96 Ranger 4x4. 16 years ago I had an 88 2wd that was a beater but I really liked it, so I went off to take a look. 165k miles, body really straight, some minor things to work on but nothing big. Drove it home that night and found that it is quieter on the highway than the MKX I am now selling :) But in the long run I plan to do a mild offroad build with 33's and bumpers. Maybe if all goes right I will head back to Moab to explore the trails again.

That's a good looking truck...

Welcome to TRS...

Welcome Good to see another from the pnw. Not many of us on here

33's on that body style should be doable with just a body lift; if you wanna go that route. Nice and simple. I've found suspension changes get complex quick on these trucks.

With bumpers might wanna look into 2" springs up front and and add-a-leaf to hold the weight tho.

Welcome to the Friendliest group of people I've never met [Yet]! TRS is a great place to be.
