94 Ranger newly aquired and saved from behind barn of my old mans....

Inner structure of the box was so rusty it flapped going down the road. Have the box off now. Had to replace all the spring hangers and shackles on the back end. Drove it home with the rear leafs riding on the bottom of the bed because the shackles had rusted away to nothing...lol. Ripped the box off (got a new one), Removed the tire carrier, ripped off the exhaust after the cat. Removed the quear blue stipe from the side. Cut out the cab corner, borrowing welder next weeek to stitch in the new patch panel.

Bought a box from and '05 with fender flares, tail lights, and tailgate for $500. No rust and mild dents, nothing major at all!!!!

Any other issuses or things I should look at tackling while the rear end is stripped down?

Pictures are taken after the 4 hour buff and wax to see what I had...lol

From the looks of it, your radiator core support is probably shot too. I base that on the difference in gap between the drivers side front fender and the bumper and the passenger side fender and the bumper.

And how is it snowing in Western Iowa at this time of year? :icon_rofl:
