I am 25 and live in WA. Loved ford trucks since I was born and have been wrenching for almost 5 years. Just picked up a 87 Ranger. 4x4, manual trans...have no clue how many miles its got. So far I have replaced the water pump, radiator, thermostat, fuel filter, spark plugs, plug wires, dist cap, rotor, stock air filter, egr valve, pcv valve, valve cover gaskets....and ive got tons more to do to try and save this truck from any more damage. Previous owner did not give a crap about this truck. I WILL RESCUE IT. I will soon be servicing the transmission, transfer case and diffs. Just about every seal on this truck leaks. I also plan on doing a body lift soon. I hope to learn a ton here and welcome any suggestions.
