O and the hood scoop is truly horible, but way to balls up and throw your money at it anyways. Mod it the way you like it.

Around here a girl who has a wallet chain buys her girlfriend some boots - generally speaking - trying to look like the kind of ultra-capable woman you may be dating. But most of these ladies drives an early '80s piece with too many bumper stickers and hate men.

Like a non-functional hood scoop, they are trying to achieve a look - not perform. Sounds like you and your girl work well together without having to "play a role"

IMO, if you think it will look good, do it.

I prefer the sleeper look, and wouldn't run a cowl unless I absolutely had to. I actually have a cowl out in my garage that I ripped off a truck I was pulling the engine out of, it's just waiting for me to run into a fitment issue..
