new member, I feel that I am a little conflicted about what RBV I technically am? considering, it's a little bit of all.

curiously, I have friends that have called it the same thing. anyhow, I just posted a few pics in the new downloads of the member album. enjoy.....
 
I had a minute, so I figured I would give everyone a rundown in case anyone wanted to see under the hood.
84 ranger xlt
frame,hood,fenders,doors,rear cab wall,and what is left of the bed
84 Bronco II
shortened cab
92 explorer
axles-8.8 trac- loc, D35 ttb, 4.88 gears
8" ttb lift, 2" body
4.0 v6 Fed. emissions non-egr
tk 5spd
1350 manual shift
explorer dash and eevveerryytthhiinngg attached to it, whole harness!
seats, console, carpet, headliner, and I'm not sure what else .....

as you may have guessed, it is still a work in progress. I will try to upload more pics as I take em.
 
the best part is that I only have about 1000$ into the project, and 800$ of it was for the donor explorer.
 
That looks pretty badass! I would suggest you lengthen the wheelbase slightly and bob the bed for a better departure angle. Other than that, it looks awesome.
 
I thought about shortening the bed, but I would prefer to keep it long just so I have a remote chance of fitting my ktm 300 in the back. it will be iffy with the length now.
 
Those leaf springs aren't doing much for towing/hauling capacity up that far. You'd be better off just getting a new bed or relocating the wheelwell arch and moving the rear suspension. (you MIGHT need a carrier bearing with that long of a wheelbase though)
