new guy looking for info on v-8 swap

I have a 1992 ford ranger xlt and a 93 mercury cougar. I have done some research and am a little confused on the swap and some of the smaller details. I want a/c, and p/s. I have a very small budget and i want to know what i have to do to get the 5.0l high output engine out of the cougar and put it in the ranger the ranger came stock with a 3.0l, and the cougar/truck are automatic tranny's as well.

looking for a parts list maybe, and or some links to other threads, or other builds and swap's so i can read and search through them my self.

I know those late Cougars had very short front accessories (same as '94/'95 GT) so that makes fitting AC condensor/mechanical fan easy, leaving the stock Ranger rad in the stock position.

Read as many build threads as posible, it has all been done many times. The original build of my truck (on RPS) has a link in my sig.
