Hey guys im new to the website, was trying to find a nice Ford Ranger website/club and finally ran across this one. Im 16, first truck, 1994 Ford Ranger XLT. Its running on 38.5inch Interco Thornbird tires, eagle alloy wheels, 8inch suspension, 3inch body, premium locking hubs, and thats about it for the mods. I work part time and dont make to much money but the extra I try to put into the truck. I want to replace stock axles with Dana's but a couple of my friends that are into trucks also tell me they are to heavy?

I think im going to stop here for a while ha, good to be here with you guys!

sure do

they are pretty much up to date as far as the exterior goes...i do however need to buy/replace fuel injectors =/

That truck is pretty bitchin, how are the thornturds off road?

How did you get a truck like that with little money and only 16?

lol...yeah the tires arent all that to brag about, but they came with the truck and the way i see it, better then 14" stock tires on 11" of lift

I paid $2000 and family helped with the other $2000.

Cool man, is it regeared at all?

If not, how is the power with those 38's?

And you said you wan to replace the axles with 'Dana's' what do you mean? The front is already a Dana, a Dana 35 that is:D

Too Heavy? Tel your friends to go to the gym:D

not that im aware of and its pretty good actually.....not so great anymore cause of the fuel injectors.

if i give it to much gas coming off a stoplight or something it stalls....so a good $250 is what i need right now ha

Im not to truck smart, trying to learn, read quite a bit on this site an hour ago, so I guess just a dana axle in the rear.

truck is sweet bro, just stick a rear axle from an explorer in the back, and it you want a better axle for the front, either a dana 44 or dana 60, but i would just keep it the way it is if your not breaking anything as it is

thanks, and yeah nothin broke yet....i found an 8.8 out of an explorer, it's in good condition, and 100% complete- 3.55 gears, disk brakes, brake lines, and the yolk adapter on the front which is needed for a jeep swap.. $200....(yes, this is copied from an AD, like i said before im not to truck smart still learning)

do you have the 7.5 rear right now?

i got 33" on my 3.73 and thats just about to much lol i'm 17 but i have been working on engines and trucks pretty much my whole life lol that 3.55 would be WAY to tall and SLOW to turn even a 35" lol i would look for like a 4.56 or even a 4.88 for 35s i couldnt imagine 38's on 3.73s, like i dont want to sound rude but do you 4x4?? and if so can you turn those tires in the mud?!?!
