New guy from Pasadena California here

Hey all,

I just picked up a 1994 supercab 4x4 Ranger that was retired by the Geology Department at Caltech here in Pasadena.

It has spent its life traveling far, traveling heavy and being abused like a rental car!

So here I am at the Ranger Station looking for tips on getting it healthy, keeping it ugly and abusing it like a 4x4.

Does anybody here wheel in Azusa Canyon?

I've been out to Azusa Canyon many years ago. So long ago in fact that it was before they built all of those houses back in there when you first drive in. As for the Ranger, I would just start by giving it a total tune up. Plugs, wires, fuel filter, air filter, and running some fuel treatment through the tank. Good luck!
