How's it going guy? Been doing some searching here for a while now while working on my project. This one prolly will be hated on by many as it's not a ford powered ranger..but not your plain SBC swap either

This isn't about making what someone else wants it's about what you want.A six liter vortech is going to be quick.What are you running for a tranny and is all the wiring in?

Tranny is a bone stock th400. Not sure what you mean about all the wiring in?

I dont see a problem with running a GM engine, i bet that thing hauls

My brother knows someone with a 50's ford truck, it looks beat, all original paint and such, but it has a 5.3 vortec from a 08 GM truck. He says it flies down the interstate.

The engine harness is the stock harness out of the truck I got my motor out of I reworked it myself to make it a standalone harness. I only use 3 wires from the ford harness a constant 12v, a keyed 12v, and a ground

What I meant on the wiring is is it all in there and the motor runs good.Im not saying you but a lot of people couldn't make that work.I have a friend who has an 03 6.0 1/2 ton it's pretty fast that Ranger should haul.Way to put the danger in the Ranger.

Well on the harness I'm not exactly sure yet..I've had some issues with it..I think it's just the fuel pump but as soon as I get the pump in I'll be able to run some scans with HPTuners and see if everything else is working the way it should
