This sucks! So Ranger is dead? If so **** YOU FORD.

Yeah, ranger is dead.

I love Ford enough that it's OK.

I like the ranger, but it's true you can get the same gas mileage and more utility out of a base or lightly trimmed v6 f150 now days and they're priced cheaply.

There really is no use for the ranger in the American market anymore.

For those of us who want decent gas mileage mini trucks that aren't brand new, we can still buy used rangers. They're great trucks.

I hate to say it but Ford made the right decision.

back to the point of the post funny

true that. u know i dont really care much if Ford kills the Ranger, since i wont get a new one, ill stick to used ones in case i replace mine, and im not doing it in atleast 5 or more years

Never gonna give you up...never gonna let you down...... lol :yahoo:

the rangers will still be out there for another 10 years even if they stop making new ones today. from 1996 to present day, there are just a ton of interchangeable parts on these things. the basic design hasnt changed in 20 years.

it makes me seriously think about keeping my fully loaded 99 xlt 4x4. if i paid a couple grand for a good paint job, a couple hundred for a power steering rack and a few hundred for new carpet and seats inside, the truck would be like new again. its basically spend $3k to make it pretty or sell it as is for about $2500... its a tough decision!

I agree 100%. Although I love my truck, it really isn't the most useful truck when you use it for what a truck is made for....hauling. But I'm going to rock this Ranger for years to come because it's dependable as hell, easy to work on, and a damn good looking truck. I'd rather see them kill it than ruin it by using a unibody or something like that too.

I will always bleed blue......always.
