I didn't think Ford came out with a 6 cylinder diesel yet? The other day I saw a Ford box truck that had a 4.6L V6 Powerstroke diesel.

yeah i guess. i got a book that shows a 4 cylinder diesel. i think thatd be the way to go in a ranger or midsize truck. someone wants mpg but needs power a 4 banger diesel.

are you sure about the v6 powerstroke? must have been in a brand new model right? i have yet to see one

The Ford LCF's (box truck) have had the 4.5 V6 diesel for a while.

Yeah, that is what I saw. I couldn't remember the model.

The LCF motor was made for the f150 in 04 but was not put throw it is a 6.0 -2 pistons and has twin turbos.

They have a 2.3 4 banger and a 3.0 the are made in Brazil.

Its true, Ford did put a 4.5L Powerstroke in their F-series. But only the F-450 and up class. And it was short lived. Haven't seen any recent ones on the newer models.

I believe Ford is re-ramping up to put a 4.4L diesel in the F-150 around 2010-2012.
