New Bronco

I have heard some talk of a new bronco and i have seen the concept from a few years ago but i haven't seen anything of notoriety.
just wondering what you know, links would be appreciated.

I heard somebody say it was supposed to go into production also, but it was being built on an escape platform ;rolleyes;

Id like to see something simliar to a 2 door excursion, complete with solid axles and a V10 (or better yet, a 460)

That's it? Wow. My brothers old 460 got 12, but it was an EFI engine. My tractor gets 8 for crying out loud.

The V10 might get 10...with less power.

Ford green lighted it for production shortly after showing the concept. People really liked the concept...retro SUV with a small diesel. Ford has NO spare cash to get it into production now...it's safe to say that the Bronco has been shelved for now and we probably won't see it until after Ford starts turning a profit again, if at all.

i like the looks of the concept but the concept has IFS and i keep hearing about a solid front and rear. i would really like to see one built.

good luck with that one.. i don't see any auto maker turning a profit any time soon. at least in the next 4 years,it will take that long for the country to start to see anything of a "normal " income if at all
