thanks guys! the body is rustolium satin sage, rattle cans were on sale for $4.39 each at the H depot, took about 8 cans but i bought 10. the roof is satin white marine paint, put on with a light textured roller. $15 a quart. and the grill is rattle can bed liner, $10 a can, i bought 2, plannin on doing the mirrors once i get em scuffed up. so all in all for less than $100 including beer. im very pleased with the results.

i also gutted the carpet and padding a sprayed the floor with rattle can truck bed coating. as well asthe fender badges. i custom painting my grill emblem and should have that done soon. wll post pics as they come. thanks for the inputs guys. i got plans for this thing!!!

Seriously before using the rattle can truck liner, cough up a little more dough and use herculiner. You will regret the rattle can liner on the floor, it will rip up almost immediately... Been there. Just go with the herc and you'll be happy!

i know it peels and i did it this way just as a temp fix and to cover the factory silver paint and a couple rusty spots. i have good luck with it if you scuff really good. i usually use 80 or 100 grit paper. i also have some seriously rugged floor mats both front and rear. im not to concerned with looks as much as function. i know this inerior is going to see some serious water/mud and whatever else. this think is not my daily driver either. thanks for your input though:headbang:. i have used the herculiner before and i love it, im just using what i had layin around for now.

spent today replacing my fuel pump sending unit so now i have a gauge again! and the oil pressure sender......talk about a biaatch! i couldnt get anything on that s.o.b. to close to the motor mount for a socket, and all my wrenches were too damn long and would hit the steering box. ended up slicing a 1 1/16 socket down one side to get it to fit kinda like an O2 sensor socket. tomorrow im gonna build a catback. ill try to post a sound clip video.
