Need vacuum diagram for 1992 ranger 2.3L

Hi, everyone! I'm new here and need someone to answer a question re vacuum for my son's 1992 Ranger 2.3L truck. We had to pull the head to replace a blown headgasket. In the course of removing the lower intake, a vacuum hose came loose and we can't figure our where it goes. There are two vacuum pipes coming out of the BOTTOM of the lower intake manifold. I know where the one that's farthest from the engine goes but do not know where the one that's closest to the engine goes. Maybe someone can tell me where they BOTH go. We're ready to put the head back on but really need to find out about that vaccuum! It is all but impossible to attach any of those hoses under the manifold once on the vehicle.

I've seen some diagrams but not any that show the hoses connection under the manifold.

Welcome to TRS

Is it on the intake(regular) or throttle body(ported)

Ported vacuum goes to the EVAP system

Regular vacuum goes to:
Brake Booster
PCV Valve
EGR solenoid(EVR)
FPR(fuel pressure regulator)
Climate control(vacuum reservoir)

There can also be a vacuum line run to the top of air filter housing, for the air pre-heater

The vacuum lines in question are attached to the bottom of the lower intake. There are sorta side by side. The one closest to the engine looks to be like a 1/4" or 5/16" OD fitting. The larger one looks like a 3/8" fitting. I know positionally where the larger one goes, but cannot find any hoses or pipes that would attach to the smaller one. However I did find a small piece of rubber hose lying on the side of the valve cover about 2" long. Looks like one side would fit over the smaller vacuum fitting and the other end of the hose is bigger - like maybe 3/8. So I don't know if I am looking for a hose or a pipe??? What would be nice is to have a picture with both fittings identified.

That gives me some confidence. However, MY BAD! The vacuum ports in question are on the bottom of the UPPER intake - NOT the lower intake as I mistakenly mentioned above. The videos you recommended DID help find the PCV connection but have yet to identify the other port. I went down to the local Ford dealer and the pointed me over to one their "old school" mechanics who couldn't remember. They could not find any vacuum diagram that clearly identified the physical location of the vac lines. They told me if I would bring the manifold down there it might jog their memory.

Any other ideas?
