well i started to install my turbo on my ranger. untill i realised how much stuff is involved.between drilling oil returns, injectors, sensors, custom piping, fule pressure regulator. should i just stop where i am now and get a turbo t bird and swap.. i mean i can only go safe with 7lbs max on the ranger motor any way. i already have a turbo and manifold, injectors, fule pump, waistgate, blow off valve ( still missing alot of parts) just to add the turbo to the stock motor...a little advice guys should i stay with it or find a swapppp.

thanks guys

wrong section, this should be under forced induction if im not mistaken.
sorry if im wrong.
but in my opinion i would get a t bird motor and a wireharness from the detialzone (think thats it) mainly because 7 psi isnt much (for me i have friends with merkurs) and in my opinion once again i would feel safe with a motor thats meant for the turbo.
the n/a in my opinion seems its meant for stock unmolested things.
i have dreams of doing the t bird swap with a volvo 24 valve head someday but got other things to worry about. but i do have the head laying around thinking it might go good on a n/a possibly...

other than the tapping of the holes in the block (you can get away with tapping the return into the oil pan), the only difference between the turbo and NA engines is the forged pistons and the higher combustion chamber volume in the heads, the rest is wiring and stuff... getting a whole engine or car is optimal though, that way you have more parts in one chunk than having to nickel and dime yourself to death...
