Get some Stainless Steel Polish, We bought it for our fridge & etc... Used it on some other stuff also, its really good!

What material is it? Aluminum I assume. Meguiar's make some aluminum polish that I use on my wheels, works pretty good. Try looking at aluminum wheel polish at the auto parts store, you should find what you seek there.

I'll try the aluminum polish. I'm probably gonna use it on my wheels too they're fading pretty bad

try some aluminum polisher but if theres rust i would get some fine wire steel wool.....

Be careful with that on your wheels. You probably have a clear coated finish on your wheels, at which point you wouldn't want to use aluminum polish. It would ruin your finish.

Right now my finish is pretty well gone but what would you recommend using? a powerball with wax or something?

Mothers and the Powerball. I use it all the time on my diamond plat bed sides and my A/R aluminum wheels. The power ball is so easy to use. I got mine at Walmart for about $20.00!!!! Go get one!!!!!

Use dawn soap and hot water to clean the aluminum rims as much as possible. For deep rust and dirt, use a small dab of Brasso on a scotch-brite pad to clean the rims. Keep the rims wet.
Sand the rims with 200-grit wet/dry sandpaper to remove the damaged finish and possible rust. The wheel will look scratched, but this will be solved.
Sand the rims again using a 500-grit wet/dry sandpaper to file down remaining bumps and scuffs.
Smooth out the aluminum and remove scratching from the sandpaper with very fine steel wool and a small dab of Brasso for severe scratching.
Refine the shine on the rims with Brasso applied to a scotch-brite pad.
Hose down the tire with cold water.
Apply a coat of Brasso to the rims and allow it to sit overnight to cure the aluminum.
Polish the rims thoroughly with a de-oxidizing polish, and buff it out with a rag.
Polish the rims with an aluminum polish of your choice, applying and removing the polish in a circular buffing motion with a clean rag.
