Need some help, planning to move into different state...

I've never moved before, so yeah, I want to just up and move in ONE move.

A one way trip from Illinois to Northwest Alabama near Florance.

Now how do I do this? Moving the stuff is not the issue but how do I deal with my address? I've changed mailboxes, and I still get mail at my old address.

I live in a Rental trailer that my Dad owns on our old place.

As for my Job, I will simply transfer to another company plant. I am planning on living in a Rental temporally and then find a permanent dwelling.

change of address card so the post office will forward your mail and contadt everybody that sends you stuff with your new address. its not 100%, I still get mail at at the family ranch in oregon and I haven't set foot on it in 14 years.

COA card is a good way to start, but take the time to make some new address labels on your computer, and when your bills come in each month, notify them of your new address by sticking one of the labels on the return portion.
