So ive got a 96 B4000 with auto hubs and electronic 4wd.
The truck will engage in 4wd but will not really "BE" in 4wd, like the driveshaft is engaged so i know the transfer case is fine, but the front wheels will not turn at all under throttle.
I took off the driver side wheel and autohub and grabbed the axle with a vice grip while i turned the front driveshaft (truck was in 2wd) and i can easily turn the driveshaft and have the axle not move. I can see the passenger side axle is moving (dunno if the auto hub is f'd on that side too)
My question is, should the axle be moving at all? or should it be locked in and moving if im turning the driveshaft...
So is it my axles? the diff? or the auto hubs?
