ok. so i want to get a system for the truck. its a 06 3.0 superecab. im having issues on where im going to put the sub. i dont want to lose the use of the jump seats. ive seen a thred where someone cut out the the middle seat of the 60/40 drivers seat. there should be enough room between the drivers seat and passenger to put the sub there. so far thats my best option. but i dont want to hack apart my seat if i dont have to. looking for some ideas and subs that would be a good fit for the truck.
thanks guys.

Hi

I'm working on mine at the moment, it's only a small sub and I'm going to velcro it to the back cab wall.

This is the sub http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10151&partNumber=569301&langId=-1

I'll post some pictures when I'm done.

Might be helpful for you maybe?

huh? looks cool. let me know how it sounds. at that size it wauld be an easy install under the seat. if i went that rout id buy two one for each seat.

look over the threads there are many pic of people showing off there boxes to give you some idea.

what size subs are you liooking at going with? 10" or 12"? you can do more with one or two 10s..

really bored.. played with paint...

Dont really care what size subs i get. idealy it would be a sub i can mount under the seat. i just really dont want to lose the use of the jump seats to an ugly sub box.

love the paint drawing though. lol creative.

Infinity BassLink looks like a good option.

i understand not wanting to get rid of your jumpers. i am making my sub boxs to fit under my jumpers.

trying to put something under the 2 front seats is going to be REALLY tight! going with one of two 8" subs or Infinity BassLink like you all say that does look like a nice idea.. as long as it does fit...

thats a cool looking design. is it for a 8'' sub? might steal it from you. lol. i was looking over the basslink even if it doesnt fit to my likeing it would be as easy as a few wires to unplug to take it out and put it in the bed until no one is in the jump seats.

Right on. you are more than welcome to try it out! :icon_thumby: the box is for a 10" sub. I have two one for each side. I made the box out of card bord first so i could get an idea of how it would fit then went and got the 3/4" MDF. took me about 2 hours to cut it all up..( but all i have is a hand saw) ...lol once i am 100% sure on it i will post the size of each side and pics from start to finish.. :icon_cheers:

the only thing to keep in mind is that my seats on my 96 sit inward not to the front..

yea i noticed from your pic that the floor and seat were a little different from my 06. but your idea on a cardboard template is awesome ill probly end up doing the same. it takes the guess work out of buying a box online and hoping it will fit. i work for a construction company so scrap plywood and tools are easy to come by. all i will have to buy is some fabric to cover it so it will be dirt cheap to build. 2 8'' subs will do the job quite well and the amp should be easy to install under the seat.
