I had a problem firing up my race truck after an engine swap. I tried off and on over 4 months to figure it out. It ended up that a connector that I knew was good....wasn't. Originally when I installed the engine I wrapped tape over each connector to indicate that they were good. The little orange gasket inside was dry and one pulled apart just enough so there wasn't contact, but because it was covered in tape I didn't recheck. I now put a dab of dielectric grease on every connector I pull apart.
