ok so i cranked my torsion bars on my 01 ranger xlt. something was leaking the other i thought it was my brakes since i just did them. so today i had the mechanic in town take a look since i could not find the cause of the leak. well comes to find out my axle rubbed a hole through my new shocks. so my question is how should i fix it. does anyone know if someone makes a kit so i can put the shocks upside down to give myself that bit of clearance. oh by the way the shocks were brand new rancho installed wheni did the lift. someone please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!

That sounds strange. Are you sure something is not bent on one side or do you have the same problem on both sides?

i think its only rubbing when i turn but not 100% sure on that.

does anyone make a shock reversal kit for rangers. i cant find one any where

Post some pictures up so everyone can see. It might help get more ideas on what you should do.

ok i took some pics of the problem but you cant see anything its to dark. but i think i have figured out that the only time it rubs is when i am turning. i was wondering if it has something to do with the negative camber. the top of my tires are in about an inch more than the bottom. has anyone else ever had or even heard of this problem.

i thought rancho had a life time warranty?

they may have the warranty but i need to figure out why its rubbing in the first place
