need help on 4.0

need help with 4.0 question

been searching for parts for upcoming ranger project. found a 4.0 that is out of a 2001. my question is the 2001 4.0 is going to need speed sensors and that year vehicle has the sensors in the axles correct? damn electronic stuff anyway! the guy has the manual shift tranny and t-cases for a 4.0 so i might still get those. just need to find out if the engine is going to work for the swap.
