My daughter bought a 98 4x super and whoever she bought it from has the torsions cranked up to the hard stop. Needless to say the front tires are now gone on the insides. Where can I measure to find stock height? I will raise it as high as I can (1.5 inches from what I read) but I need a reference point. There must be somewhere I can measure or angle check either the top or bottom control arm(s) to as a start point.

Measure from the ground to the bottom of the fender. If I remember correctly, the measurement between there was about 35 inches or so. What size tires does it have on it?

Stock should be where the axle half-shafts slope down at about a 10° angle (downward toward the wheel).

Another way is to measure the distance from the fender to the tire with the suspension fully unloaded. With weight on the suspension, it should be approx 2-3" less (2-3" compressed).

She has 235/75/15. Well worn.

Ok so stock size. I have 265/75R16's so I can't give you an accurate measurement of what it was suppose to be when it was stock.

I have my 2000 at 32.5", ground to fender flare lip at hub center, same size tires, new tread. At 33", mine "tops out" over bumps with a jolt you can feel.
