Need Help - 97 Ranger Silver Paint Code

Bought a used 97 Ford Ranger. The factory door jamb data plate is missing.

The truck is a very light colored silver, and the 97 Ranger sales brochure on the website shows only one silver color option was available but no paint code.

If you have a silver 97 (or any close year) Ranger please give me the paint code.

Local Ford dealer says they cannot get it from the VIN. Local body shop claims they cannot track it down either.

Here is what the factory sales brochures say abought light silver paint:

'95 Silver CC Metallic

''96 Silver CC Metallic

'97 Silver CC Metallic

'98 No light silver color offered

Anyway, if you have a light silver colored 95, 96, or 97 Ranger, please give me the paint code.

Rascan - I cannot see the paint code in you pic, but bless your heart anyway.

And your truck looks to have the same pale silver as mine.
