need 5.0 piston ring info

What would be a "good" intake then? As for the 85 GT hauling ass, for 85 it did ok.

Ford C9OX, A321, Edelbrock F4B, RPM, Airgap RPM, Weiand Stealth, Shelby's "Cobra" intake for the 289. All these are highrise dual planes, some have equal length runners, some have unequal runners,,but they're all good from idle to 6500-7000 (the upper limit depends on the carb, heads and cam selected) As for the 85 Stang "doing OK" ? 15 second quarters are hardly OK, compared to what's out there now from the factory. In 85 Ford was just coming out of the doldrums they put themselves in back in 1972.

If the 85 stangs were that bad, the camaros really sucked lol

Do you think the radiator out of a 4.0 explorer will cool a mild 302? Looks like a 4 core

I have a couple of v-8 car radiators (mid 80s) and they are only about an inch thick and way too wide. This one is about 2.5 inches thick and fits the opening very good. I only have 50 bucks invested so if it doesnt work I really am not out anything. Thanks for the input
