Natural gas vs gas and diesel engine ...

would boosting a gasoline engine help with the loss of power from 'pane or CNG?

Over regulation has killed progress more than not
Bobby , the current regulations have put a huge dampener on harvesting the bio to make the diesel

The net return from the scientist I have dealt with is still a 3 to 1 ratio to conventional diesel or gasoline in cost per energy , or the fuels ability to produce torque or horsepower

You can get gasoline from algea too.

It only takes care of half the problem, the raw product. There are still emissions to deal with.

The only way to get around that little bugger is electric car running on wind generated juice.

Emissions is taken care of by the algea. Algea only needs 3x things, Sunlight, water, and CO2. At some coal fire powerplants, they use algea to reduce the harmful emissions of those powerplants. All they do is pump the emissions into the clear tubes full of water & algea, and the algea asborbs the CO2 emissions. And it gets better, after oil has been extracted from the algea, they can use whats left over as cattle feed.

As for the gasonline from algea, I did not know that. But would make sense, since we seperate gasoline from crude oil. So the process do that with algea oil would not be too different.
