Mystery Moisture!?

Last Tuesday I noticed that the space behind the driver's seat in the extended cab was soaking wet. And it still is almost a week later, getting anything that sits on it soaking wet. It made some papers back there rusty orange in two spots and the carpet is yellow-orange in two spots. What is going on and is it dangerous for me to drive??

I think you should check around your third brakelite and make sure the water is not leaking in that way.

+1 on the brake light. Or maybe the sliding rear window, if you have one.

the sliding rear window would be my guess, maybe the floor leaks . when you drive in the rain the water gets kicked up and soaks the carpet .
