2000 Ford Ranger XLT 2wd, 3.0L V-6 with automatic, 3.73 gears. Did a head job on it last year due to a busted head gasket and replaced the water pump, just replaced the lower ball joints last weak and will be replacing the uppers very soon (next paycheck) and doing a tune-up as well. It's my DD and does see some off-road (well, off-pavement) action a good bit (does gravel & dirt roads count?).
Not long ago, in a muddy field when I did have mud grips on the truck, a friend pulled a nasty (well, muddy in this case) trick on me and he decided to throw mud all over my windshield and I wound up getting stuck in a rut, so he hooked up to me and pulled me out...after snatching the hell of the front bumper.
The fake dual exhaust courtesy of a Camaro muffler that makes a very nice mellow sound and the odd-ball slick spare tire. The other tire got a long ass nail in it and messed up the inner sidewall this passed monday afternoon
My future plans include: 1" coil spring lift on the front, new rims and AT tires, tach, new (updated) sound system, new exhaust, driving lights, new front bumper & brackets, new front windshield and paint job.
