my own garage

I think it's mostly insurance liability. They can't be held responsible if you screw up your car or get injured by your car on their property. Completely understandable from a business standpoint.

Not to mention it looks pretty tacky having people working on their cars out in your parking lot.

lol, yeah, i was just joking around. there's lots of reasons we didnt want people out there screwing around. liability was biggest though. i could go on and on with reasons.

Heh, sorry.. Didn't realize. It's similar to the reason employees aren't allowed to load items into a customer's car unless the car is at the door. Can't venture into the parking lot for insurance reasons. I get it, some customers are dumb and think you're just trying to make their lives difficult.

Ugh, I find that very easy (too easy) to believe.

Garage and no tools, just the opposite from me.....tools galore, and no garage. Years and years ago, someone sold off the southern end of my lot, to build another house with no yard...leaving this lot with no garage-room.

Ah, to have a garage to equip with toolage.....the Holy Grail of many a tool-junkie.....
