If you do lots of short trips, it's fuel dilution. When you first start the truck, the computer makes it runs rich (it's supposed to), but after it reaches operating temperature, it runs the way it supposed to. If you do lots of short trips, it doesn't have time to warm up, so it's basically always running rich. There's not much you can do about this, you just gotta change your oil more often. For that kind of severe driving, change it every 3 months or every 3k miles.
