My new steering

Yeah, I noticed that too. Also, shouldn't the Pitarm to Pass. knuckle piece be rolled over about 90*, to allow for a more natural arc? It looks like it is going to be fighting itself at flex. Still, creative use of knowledge. Now I am thinking about working with some my old Cherokee steering and seeing what I can come up with...

+1, The TRE for the D-side tierod I would think should best be pointed straight back so the stud is horizontal. Maybe there was a clearance issue between it and the pivot bracket? Maybe pushing the axle forward via the radius arms could help make some more room?

BINGO. Thats why everything is sitting as it is right now.

How is it for articulation. Looks like it's going to hit itself if the drivers tire goes up and passenger side goes down.

Looks like but won't . The left tie rod is actually sitting behind the pitman arm. So as the Lt tie rod moves up, it'll tuck up behind the drag link/pitman arm. What I am concerned about is the TRE at the drag link binding when both beams move down ( front end catching air or on a hoist ) or even when the left beam articulates down.

I'm working on it on Sunday. I'll take pictures as I flex it using the Bobcat.

This is great info, I am looking to finally get started on the steering for my BII and I had been eyeballing the EB steering but wasn't sure. Can wait to see how it flexes

Very nice ingenuity! I'm impressed. I wish I had access to more tooling.

Any news on whether it hits while the suspension flexes?
