Well, I'm finally back in a 4x4 after way too long! I picked it up on Tuesday for $1500(guy wanted 2900), its a 85 2.8l 5spd only 128k miles with either3 or 4 inches of suspension lift. Its got stock 3.45 axles(for now), 31x10.50 wild country txr tires on B series wheels, twin sticks, blue interior in good shape, and has no rust, and no abuse. Only issue it has is that the previous batter developed a leak and melted alot of the vacuum lines right at the tree. What lines didn't melt turned wickedly brittle, So I'll be at the junkyard on my day off having a Grand time replacing every last one of them.

In this one you can see my girlfriend picking flowers right under the bumper lol. The thing flexes ok, but this pic is before I removed the rear sway bar, and I'll get around to front quick disconnects whenever I get a couple other bugs with the vacuum lines worked out, then, onto the build!

Not much its going to change in the appearance. I'm thinking maybe d35 swap when the 28 goes, explorer 8.8 in rear. Make some extended radius arms when I get my welder. Then some solid bumpers. It doesn't have a swing away spare tire rack, so that's also a possibility, because I don't want much up top. And the passenger side fender has a little damage. This thing creeps in low range. I tested it on gravel, top speed in 5th gear is a whopping 30mph! awesome crawler!
