So I had an electrical issue with my ranger on Tuesday. Turns out the terminal connectors were bad. I had the battery tested twice, checked my grounds and for the life couldnt figure out why i was getting no lights no crank or anything. This all happened in a 3 hr time frame while in class. Worked perfect on the way to school. absoulty nothing once I got there. Had to take it to the dealership ( I rented a tow dolly and borrowed a old work truck) and they call me today to tell me the terminal connectors was the problem. Are you Serious? BTW I even cleaned the terminals and old connectors myself before i brought it in. i didnt know those could go bad. Dealership said $170 for parts and labor. I laughed and said push it out front, ill do it myself. He called me back 5 min later and said we will do it for $10. I said thank you i appreciate you not raping me. All is well except my wallet being $118 lighter for what could have been $5. Ohh the joys of vehicles.
