So after being let go from my towing job about a month ago or so without any explenation, I've gotten myself a highway job that promises that I'll be home every night and most Fridays off!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :D

I'll be hauling aluminum for a local Alloy company with a tandem flatbed which they're replacing with a brand new truck as soon as the pres. of the company signs the lease.

Two runs from Sudbury to Toronto per week and the other 2 days are shorter runs. Friday is an "off" day unless they get a major shipment that NEEDS to be done. And, of course, weekends off! :D

Maybe the build thread is going to start picking up steam shortly :icon_thumby:

Excellent......now buy a camera....we need pics of the modifications...

Sigh...never mind. I just got a call saying they've decided to go with the other guy they interviewed because he's had his truck licence longer. No big surprise in this city. City council keeps complaining that the young people are leaving at an alarming rate. When employers always want a million years experience but don't want to give you any experience...it's not hard to figure out why people leave.

that sucks man... why would they tell you have the job and then say oh sorry, nevermind... that aint right. i think i'd be talking to someone in the city government.
